Pheona Donohoe

During my high school years I was an active member of the Melbourne independent music scene; editing Swirl fanzine, running the Scenestar underage shows, playing in Rock'n'Roll High School bands, etc. Upon graduation I continued to work in the music industry as Australian A&R Manager at Mds, Recovery All Ages Presenter at ABC, Metalshop Website Manager at Roadrunner Records, and Music & Promotions Manager at PBS FM. I also hosted the Australian music show on PBS for 5 years. After a year living in New York and El Paso for a year I returned to Australia to complete my Bachelor of Arts (Media) at RMIT and begin my work with the Women in Juarez, including many fundraiser events and the establishment of www.womenofjuarez.com. I am also a qualified secondary school teacher and taught Year 11 & 12 Media at Swinburne Senior Secondary College in Term 1 2007. I am currently completing my Honours at RMIT.
